Job Description

Content Marketing Executive – Maternity Cover

Salary: Up to £23,000 per annum

Location: Poole, Dorset (currently working from home)

Contract: Maternity Cover up to 12 months

Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Our highly reputable client, based in Poole, are currently searching for a Content Marketing Executive to join their friendly team in Poole to cover maternity for a maximum of 12 months. They are looking for a creative individual to help them continue creating eye catching and engaging content across various platforms including web, social, email, blogs and internal collateral.

The role is heavily content based, so written creativity, excellent time-management and strong understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud products is essential. The remaining time will be spent managing social media channels, blog and email creation as well as other content as and when required.

The main responsibilities as a Content Marketing Executive include:

  • Creating marketing collateral which can be used digitally across website, blogs, infographics, eGuides, advertising banners and more.
  • Create and publish valuable and engaging content
  • Work closely with the Technical Digital Marketing Manager to brief both web content, look & feel changes covering both UX and SEO improvements
  • Optimise content according to SEO best practices and keyword collections best practice
  • Use Google Analytics to analyse the performance, test and refine the content offering
  • Planning effective social strategies
  • Designing new email templates along with brochure templates


In order to be successful in this role, our client is looking for:

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience creating engaging content
  • Ability to create content that will engage and persuade users
  • Highly proficient using Adobe Creative Cloud – especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to put the customer at the heart of everything they do
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics and other analytical platforms
  • Understanding of social and organic channels
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Passion for creative design
