Insurance Consultant

 

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + Monthly Bonus

 

Location: Bournemouth

 

Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)

In this diverse and fast-paced role, you’ll be more than just a consultant – you’ll be a trusted partner to your clients, guiding them through their insurance needs. Working with a panel of reputable Insurers, you’ll have the chance to utilise your problem-solving skills, identify the perfect solutions, and expertly present insurance products using a consultative approach that puts the customer first.

 

Main responsibilities for the position include:

  • Drive Growth: Be at the forefront of generating new business through effective handling of direct enquiries.
  • Connect and Serve: Engage with a variety of customers through inbound and outbound communication, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities to enhance their coverage.
  • Unlock Value: Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities, ensuring clients have the comprehensive protection they need.
  • Uphold Excellence: Deliver a fully compliant service, ensuring the trust and confidence of our customers.
  • Manage Your Success: Take ownership of your customer pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient progression.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Build strong working relationships with Underwriters and Insurers to advocate for your clients.
  • Develop Your Expertise: Gain valuable underwriting knowledge through internal processes.
  • Ensure Smooth Processes: Efficiently handle policy amendments and changes, providing a seamless experience for clients.

 

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • A genuine interest in the Insurance industry and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Previous experience in an insurance role is welcomed, but we also value individuals with a strong aptitude for sales and customer interaction.
  • A proven ability to achieve and exceed targets demonstrates your drive and commitment.
  • Confident, articulate, and enjoy building rapport with people.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment and can adapt to changing situations.
  • A natural problem-solver with excellent prioritisation skills.
  • Highly organised and can manage your time effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to connect with people and explain information clearly.
