Job Description

Logistics Administrator

Salary: £18,000 – £19,000 per annum

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Our highly reputable client is currently expanding and are now looking for a pro-active, detail-focused Administrator to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administration of all department documentation including, Delivery packs, Warranties, invoices.
  • Maintaining contact with customers with pre-delivery updates.
  • Negotiation with suppliers to secure the best pricing matrix for supplied goods while maintaining relationships.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, dealership colleagues, suppliers and external representatives
  • Maximise department profitability through negotiation
  • Comprehensive updating of the internal web-based CRM system


In order to be successful in this role, our client is looking for:

  • Focused & charismatic individuals with the ability to engage with clients, partners & colleagues at all levels; working both proactively and in a consultative manner to build strong relationships.
  • A pro-active professional who can quickly identify opportunities with the ability to engage with clients, partners, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ideally some experience in a similar Service Advisor role in a franchised dealership, although our client will consider individuals with other customer service and administration experience.
  • Process-driven with a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, persuasive, dynamic, and authoritative.
  • Keen negotiator – confident in negotiation on all costs from suppliers.
  • Proactive with excellent time management skills.
