Job Description

Compliance Officer (Quality Assurance) – Part-Time

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: Approx. 21 hours per week (flexible)

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Our highly reputable client, based in central Bournemouth, is looking for a part-time Compliance Officer to join their team of industry specialists. As the Compliance officer you will join our client on a part time, permanent basis, working 21 hours over 3-5 days per week; Working hours to be agreed between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

In return, you will receive a basic annual salary of £20,000 – £25,000 (pro-rata) depending on experience, as well as fantastic Company benefits including:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality call monitoring in line with Call Monitoring Standards
  • Ensure customers are treated fairly and internal processes are being followed.
  • Ensure product, process and market knowledge is accurate and up to date
  • Keep clear audit trails
  • Monitor Compliance Call Backs
  • Complete Ad-Hoc investigations


  • Dealing with Customer Complaints in line with company processes and regulatory requirements.

Performance Management

  • Demonstrate adherence to Regulatory requirements, company processes & guidelines and best practice and promote this across the business
  • Conduct face to face feedback, to promote a standard of excellence in call handling

In order to be successful in this role, you need to have:

  • Experience in an FCA regulated environment
  • Experience in delivering feedback
  • An understanding of operational risks and controls
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills
  • Efficient organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
  • Ability to technically and critically review internal and external communications to eliminate risk.
