Sales Consultant

Location: Bournemouth

Salary:  £24,000 – £26,000 per annum, OTE £36k – £38k OTE

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Our client, based in Bournemouth, offers end-to-end solutions to their customer’s business problems.

As a Sales Consultant, your role is to consistently, reliably and predictably bring in pipeline of profitable, sustainable business in accordance with set business objectives

You must achieve quarterly and annual pipeline goals in its territory using telephone and web-based technologies. A fully competent Sales Consultant will optimise use of the resources under its control to get the job done with the minimum of oversight being required, to deliver hassle-free pipeline “on a plate” to the New Business Development team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consistently bring in pipeline of profitable, sustainable business
  • Develop and Improve Competence to achieve Excellence
  • Drive your own skills development and become fully competent.
  • Contact prospects in the data base provided as appropriate, using channels such as telephone, email, click-to-chat, social media, etc. to communicate in the most effective way.
  • Schedule diaries appointment
  • Manage inbound responses generated by the Marketing team
  • Build direct relationships with end user organisations
  • Agree clear next action to progress the opportunity in the sales cycle
  • Accurately Maintain records on CRM
  • Report Accurately and Effectively
  • Develop and Improve Competence to achieve Excellence

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Some previous phone sales experience
  • Achievement-oriented and believe in performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals.
  • Graduate calibre, preferably with qualifications in business studies, computer studies and languages.
  • Computer literate
  • A good knowledge of the high-tech industries (IT and Telecommunications)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a clear thinker
  • Excellent quality and efficiency
  • Good team player
