Sales Executive

Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Salary: £25,000 basic + Commission

Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking a vibrant Sales Executive to join their expanding sales department to maximise on growth and sales opportunities. With a solid client base and strong existing relationships our client is looking for someone who is able to maintain relationships and generate new relationships through effective communication and resolution.

Main responsibilities:

  • Servicing existing clients and offering support throughout the sales process.
  • Capable of handling Customer Service and Sales Order Processing for existing clients, and prepared to offer reliable support to the team during periods of absence.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships through regular communication, account analysis, range reviews, and on-site visits.
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate new business through targeted promotional campaigns and outbound calling.
  • Liaising and supporting sales & marketing departments to implement strategy.
  • Achieve individual and company sales revenue targets.
  • Support the launch of new products and secure customer buy-in.
  • Over time you will learn from National Account Managers and New Channel Managers to support various projects and support with new business implementation.

Skills & experience required:

  • Account management, working with product sales, experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills across all media channels including, over the phone, over email, Teams or face-to-face.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload.
  • Confident and proficient in recognising all opportunities to grow and maximise on opportunities to achieve goals.
  • Good understanding of all MS applications including, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Team player who can be individually dependable.
  • Clean UK Driving Licence required.
