Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining high quality processes which provide key stakeholders with a positive experience throughout the process
  • Carrying out regular reviews on the screening portal to ensure screening process is progressing in line with the required timescale
  • Highlighting delays or escalating issues where necessary to relevant members of staff

  • Taking responsibility to update and monitor any queries through to completion and ensuring processes are completed to a high standard
  • Making appropriate decisions and using judgement on work prioritisation, while ensuring expectations on service delivery and risks can be met
  • Identifying process issues and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Adhering to the risk management policies and being aware of changes in the businesses approach to risk management
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and maintaining confidentiality of employee information

In order to be successful in this role, our client is looking for:

  • Experience of completing employee background checks or experience in working in a high volume and fast paced HR function
  • Experience of working to KPI’s
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven track record of high accuracy with an eye for detail
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under significant pressure and to tight deadlines
  • A highly motivated and driven individual, with good interpersonal skills

In return for your hard work and commitment, our client offers fantastic benefits including:

  • A competitive basic salary
  • 23 days’ holiday (rising to 27) with the opportunity to buy extra leave
  • The opportunity to take a paid day out of the office, volunteering for our charity partners or a cause of your choice
  • Company matched pension, life assurance, a cycle2work scheme, 15 weeks’ fully paid maternity, adoption and shared parental leave, paternity pay of two weeks…and plenty more
  • Voluntary benefits designed to suit your lifestyle – from discounts on retail and socialising, to health & wellbeing, travel and technology
